  • God loves us.

  • Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
  • Jesus, lived in a family with Mary and Joseph - the Holy Family.
  • Jesus died and rose again.
  • Jesus appeared to his friends after he rose from the dead. Mary Magdala,
  • Breakfast on the Beach.
  • The Holy Spirit is with us.

Creation

  • God made the world to show his love.

The Church

  • I belong to my Church family
    The Church is a very special prayer place with a tabernacle, altar and lectern.
    God speaks to us in the Bible, which is the Church’s book.
    We learn about our faith family: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jonah, David
    God speaks to us through his Church.
    Mary was asked to be the mother of Jesus.

Liturgical Year

  • Holy Week:  The washing of the feet and the Last Supper.
    Easter Sunday: we celebrate Jesus rising to a new life.
    Pentecost: God’s Holy Spirit is with us
    Advent we prepare for Jesus at Christmas.
    Christmas: we remember the birth of Jesus.
    The shepherds came to visit the baby Jesus
    Feast of the Annunciation.

The Mass

  • Sunday is a special day for Christians who gather together to celebrate the Mass.
    At the Last Supper Jesus taught us how to celebrate the Mass.
    Jesus is present with us when we celebrate the Mass.

The Moral Life

  • Prayer is speaking, listening and singing to God.
    We pray at Mass, with our families and at school.
    Jesus wants us to pray often, at any time and in any place.
    Jesus wants our love of God and others to grow.
    Jesus wants us to follow him.
